04:30 PM – 06:00 PM – Boat tour along the Dong Nai river or Short trek with Jungle exploration

Cat Tien national park, a biodiversity hotspot in Viet Nam, offers a fascinating glimpse into untouched wilderness. With its evergreen forests, grasslands, and wetlands, this destination is perfect for nature and wildlife enthusiasts. Whether you’re trekking through ancient trees or spotting nocturnal creatures, Cat Tien promises an unforgettable adventure.
Day 1: Boat trip or Jungle trek
Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Ho Chi Minh city to Cat Tien pational park (approximately 04 hours) or Or travel from Da Lat city to Cat Tien national park. The drive takes approximately 5 to 6 hours,
03:30 PM: Through the forest along with exotic birds like parakeets and hornbills, wildlife highlights where Black-Shanked Douc Langurs, Long – tailed Macaque and various birds make an appearance such as Oriental-pied Hornbill, Racket – tailed Treepie, Ashy Drongos, flock of Little Egrets, Cattle Egrets, Great Egrets, Chinese Pond- Herons, Black-crowned Night Herons. Can see the Common Kingfisher, Pied Kingfisher, and White-throated Kingfisher and Stork-billed Kingfidher and more in the breeding season. Unveils towering trees such as Tetrameles nudiflora and Lagerstroemia speciosa (return the same way)
Day 2: Exploring crocodile lake and night safari
07:30 AM – 02:00 PM: The morning starts with a jeep or bike ride deep into the park, followed by a breathtaking 5 km trek to Crocodile Lake – a sanctuary for Siamese Crocodiles and rare bird species like the Orange-breasted Trogon and Purple Swamphen, Bronze – winged Jacana, Osprey… and may see the Great Hornbill, White-bellied Woodpecker, Partridges, Pittas … and plenty of opportunities to see primates and lizards, skinks and snakes. Marvel at towering trees such as Afzelia xylocarpa, Storeulia lychnophlora, Elephant-ear Plant and soak in the serenity of the jungle.
06:30 PM: As night falls, embark on a thrilling night wildlife tour, where you may spot Sambar Deer, Barking Deer, Wild Boar, Civet Cats, and Porcupines.
Day 3: Primate conservation
08:00 AM: A visit to the DaoTien endangered primate species centre offers insight into conservation efforts and the protection of black-shanked doucs, silvered langurs, golden-cheeked gibbons, and pygmy lorises
11:30 AM – Depart Cat Tien national park
