DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – CAT TIEN JUNGLE
Cat tien national park is the largest remaining lowland forest in Vietnam, which situated 150 km/4 hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City, covers an area of 820 km² and one of the best primate & animals watching destinations in the country. Transfer to Cat tien National Park (Lunch – Checkin – Take rest)
15:30 pm – PRIMATE: You will be taken by a jeep – car/BIKE through the jungle with target Back-shack douc Langur, Long tailed Macaque; Silver Langur and many bird the Red breasted Parakeet, Green Eared Barbet, Laced Woodpecker, Oriental – Pied Hornbill …
18:20 pm – NIGHT RIDE
Transfer by jeep – car take you through the forest to the grass area, the guide will use a spot light to try and spot the night life of ungulates as Sambar Deer, Barking Deer, Wild Boar, Civet Cat, Pocuipine … If you are lucky, maybe you can easily admire the Gaurs and another sps.
DAY 2: CROCODILE JUNGLE
07:30 am Transferred by jeep – car/BIKE for 9 km inside the park to junction, then you will walk for 5 km (each way). Those walks give you the good chance to see the target as Siame Crocodila; Back-shack douc Langur, Silver Langur and Macaques; the wide variety of birds with water birds as Bronze – winged Jacana, Purple swamphen, Duck… and Hornbill, woodpecker. This walk passing an enormous Tung tree and many big trees other jungle life including reptiles, spider, insect.
DAY 3: CAT TIEN JUNGLE – HO CHI MINH CITY
(Lunch, check out 11:00 am)
GIBBON TREKKING (05:00 am)
Early morning walk gives you opportunity to find the primates to see Back-shack douc Langur, Yellow-cheeked Crested Gibbon and Macaques …other wildlife and birds when the jungle is waking up.
& WILDLIFE RESCUE CENTER (08:15 am, 02 hours )
The aim of this centre is to rescue, train and released into the semi-natural forest habitat that helps further rehabilitation and help develop their wild and release them to the wild.
