Cat Tien Guesthouse is located inside Cat Tien National Park and is managed by the government. Its location in the forest provides a close connection with nature, with birds around the accommodation and the sounds of gibbons coming from the jungle.
The main advantage of staying here is the early access to the forest. The wild gibbon trekking and birdwatching programme can start at around 5:00 am, without the need to cross the Dong Nai River by boat.
There are eight newer double rooms. The mid-range rooms are perfectly adequate, although some rooms are older and the level of service may vary. This is a local guesthouse rather than a resort, so guests should not expect resort-style facilities.
The guesthouse has two restaurants, Yellow Bamboo Restaurant and Dipterocarpus Restaurant, offering a surprisingly wide range of Vietnamese dishes.
2. Thuy Tien Eco Lodge – Outside the Park
