Explore Cat Tien National Park, the largest remaining lowland forest in Vietnam, located 150 km (4 hours’ drive) from Ho Chi Minh City. The park covers 820 km² and is home to 1,600 plant species, 350 bird species, 97 mammal species, and 305 vertebrate species. Enjoy six nights at Cat Tien for your honeymoon or holiday.

Day 01: Giant trees – Nocturnal creatures

Morning: Transfer to Cat Tien national park (lunch – check in – take rest)

Afternoon: Introduction walk through evergreen and semi-deciduous forest where you’ll encounter giant trees like Dipterocarpus alatus, Tung Tree (Tetrameles nudiflora), Lagerstroemia calyculata, and Cycas inermis. Keep an eye out for Parakeets, Hornbills, Partridges, and Pittas.

Evening:  Embark on a night ride to spot nocturnal creatures like Sambar Deer, Barking Deer, Wild Boar, Civet Cat, and Porcupine. If you are lucky, maybe you will see the Gaurs and another species.

Day 02 – 03: Wildlife – Jungle Exploration

Focus on wild gibbons and the jungle forest. Explore the wildlife rescue center where you can see Golden Cheeked Gibbon, Great Hornbill, Green Peafowl, Otters, Turtles, and other fascinating species. Don’t miss the park’s museum, which showcases Gaurs, Elephants, Bears, Rhinoceros, Primates, Insects, Reptiles, and native fish.

Afternoon: Travel by jeep or bike through a deep forest. Capture photos and examine plants like Afzelia xylocarpa, Storeulia lychnophlora, Bird’s Nest Fern (Platycerium grande), and Giant Elephant’s Ear (Alocasia odora). Observe diverse animal life, including Long Tail Macaque, Pig Tail Macaque, Annamese Silvered Langur, and Back-shanked Douc Langur. Enjoy melodious sounds from colorful birds, reptiles, spiders, and other insects. Spend two nights at Bau Sau wetland.

Day 04 – 05: Experience Life- Rice Field

Morning: Enjoy the sunrise while searching for Jungle Fowl, Drongos and other birds like the Grey Heron, Purple Heron, Chinese Pond Heron, Bronze-winged & Pheasant-tailed Jacana, Purple Swamphen, and White-breasted Waterhen. Trek 05 km from Crocodile Lake to the main road, searching for primates and birds such as Great Hornbill, Bar-bellied Pitta, Germain’s Peacock Pheasant, Common Flameback, and Woodpeckers. as Also, be on the lookout for lizards, skinks, and snakes. Spend two nights at Nui Tuong grassland

Noon: Lunch and rest.

Afternoon: Bike ride in search of Deers, Muntjacs, Peacocks, Chinese Francolin, Parakeets, Lapwings, and Pigeons in the grassland.

Observe the daily activities of the S’tieng and Chau Ma people in Talai village amidst the picturesque rice fields interspersed with ancient Dipterocarpaceae forests unique to Cat Tien.

Day 06: Farewell!

Morning: Take a boat trip along the Dong Nai River to admire natural scenery and observe water birds such as Great Egret, Cattle Egret, Common Kingfisher, Pied Kingfisher, and White-throated Kingfisher.

11:30 am: Enjoy lunch and depart from Cat Tien to:

* Ho Chi Minh city (Tan Son Nhat airpost);

* Dalat plateau (Lien Khuong airpost, Dalat city);

* Beach of Mui Ne (Phan Thiet province), Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa province), Baria (Vung Tau province).
