Crocodile lake tour

Have limited time? This tour provides a short introductory adventure to Cat Tien National Park. Experience the serenity of nature with an easy, refreshing trek through the tranquil and picturesque landscape of the tropical forest.

Day 01: Short trek – Night ride

Morning: Three hour drive  from Ho Chi Minh City to Cat Tien National Park. Along the journey, explore La Nga fishing village life, Da Ba Chong scenic spot, and the Teak (Tectona grandis) forest.

Afternoon: Trek approximately 06 km (02 hours) through the forest to identify plant and animal species in their natural  environment. Visit old big trees like Tung Tree (Tetrameles nudiflora), Thien Tue tree (Cycas inermis), and Giant Crepe-Myrtle (Lagerstroemia speciosa). Observe Parakeets, Hornbills, Partridges, Pittas, and other wildlife. Rest at Ben Cu rapid.

Everning: Board a specialized vehicle for a 01-hour night wildlife tour. Spot animals such as fishing cat, wild boar, deers and porcupines.

Day 02: Bike Adventure

Morning: Watch the sunrise and enjoy breakfast at Cat Tien National Park. After breakfast, explore the local jungle by bicycle.

Vietnature Tour provides single and paired bicycles for exploring the local forest at your own pace without a guide. Capture photos with Irvingia malayana and Go Do tree (Afzelia xylocarpa) . Encounter jungle life, including animals, reptiles, spiders, insects and birds as peacocks, kingfishers, woodpeckers. You may even see some primate species, crocodiles when you visit Bau Sau Ramsar.

11:30 am: Enjoy lunch and depart from Cat Tien to:

* Ho Chi Minh city (Tan Son Nhat airpost);

* Dalat plateau (Lien Khuong airpost, Dalat city);

* Beach of Mui Ne (Phan Thiet province), Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa province), Baria (Vung Tau province).
